I’m a Cat Person National Adoption Week is when hundreds of rescue organizations and shelters across the country waive or discount fees for a one week cat adoption drive.

It’s the one week of the year when you can find your purr with a special feline and additionally support cat rescue and adoption on a macro level.

Each cat that is adopted not only frees up shelter staff to help the next kitty in line find it’s forever home, it often saves another cat’s life too as it creates more room for cats at places where resources are already tight.
